BLAKE BAKER
Founder | President | Chair

Blake is a family man and a businessman who resides in the Santa Clarita Valley with his wife Kristen. Together they enjoy a combined family of 6 children (Brian 33, Nikki 30, Hunter 24, Haylee 22, Hudson 22, and Brennan 17). Blake loves to golf, enjoys hosting social events, and spends much time traveling with Kristen. He has spent the majority of his career within the insurance and financial industry, most recently serving as the President and CEO of an insurance & financial firm that he established in 2010 and sold in 2020. During his professional career, Blake was dedicated to outreach opportunities, charitable giving, giving back to the community, and providing career opportunities to underprivileged individuals. Blake has also served on the Board of Directors for an array of non-profit associations, industry associations, and corporations. Today Blake continues his commitment to philanthropic causes and has a great passion to lead the BFF. Blake’s hope is that the BFF will provide the opportunity to make a significant and positive impact on the lives of many people in many ways!

KRISTEN BAKER
Founder | Board Member | Secretary

Kristen is recently retired from the Entertainment Industry, where she enjoyed a successful 25-plus year career in various management roles at Entertainment Partners and as a freelance payroll accountant. Kristen is a long-time resident of Santa Clarita along with her husband Blake and she enjoys spending time with her large family and many friends. Kristen gives of her time generously and she is a friend and mentor to many young people in the Santa Clarita Valley. She is dedicated to helping kids become the very best they can be. Kristen also loves sports and has served on the Board of Directors of many youth sports leagues within the Santa Clarita Valley. Kristen loves to travel and she enjoys hosting parties and events, which she is “famous” for around the SCV. Kristen is a founder of the BFF and she is excited and passionate for the opportunity to enact real change for those in need throughout her community.

RONDA MURRAY
Board Member | Treasurer

Ronda has been a resident of the Santa Clarita Valley since 1971 and is the mother of 2 grown children, Jacob and Rachel. Married to Vince, she enjoys family time, travel and has a real passion for football. Ronda has been a successful residential real estate agent in Santa Clarita for 32 years and has been heavily involved in the non-profit community for over 28 years. She has served on the Board of Directors for the Child & Family Development Center, the Boys & Girls Club of SCV, Wm. S. Hart School District Personnel Commission, SCVAA, A Light of Hope, along with many others. Ronda is passionate about helping others and she is dedicated to helping to make the BFF an invaluable asset for our local community.

CATHY CRAIG
Executive Director

Cathy has been an entrepreneur for 30 years acting as President and owner of a successful family business, and subsequently developing her own consulting and project management company. As an experienced business professional, Cathy has become a powerful force within the community through her embrace of a positive attitude, innovative thinking and her tireless determination to inspire others to work hard and to succeed. Cathy’s strong sense of faith and service to others has spanned her entire life starting with her involvement with the United Cerebral Palsy Organization and later including the Battle Buddy Foundation, Thank A Vet, Single Mother Outreach, Blind Children’s Foundation, along with many other charitable organizations. Born and raised in California, Cathy obtained a degree in Public Administration from SDSU, and became a founding member of the Delta Gamma SDSU Chapter. As a lifelong member of the DO Good Sisterhood, Cathy combines a strong business background with an even stronger passion to serve and “Do Good” in her community. Cathy is excited and looks forward to her new role in the BFF, and intends to assure that the BFF will make a positive impact in our community.
